DUBLIN CITY UNIVERSITY (DCU)
Dublin City University was awarded its university status in 1989 and therefore it is a young university in comparison to others within the Dublin region and Ireland. It occupies a campus size of 85 acres and it is in close proximity to both the city centre and Dublin airport. It offers modern undergraduate courses across a wide subject domain. In addition over the past number of years DCU has successfully developed key areas of research specialisation though the creation of dedicated research centres and centres of excellence which are multidisciplinary in nature and which involve both national and international collaborations.

DUBLIN WEATHER
Typically the weather during the month of May is very pleasant with maximum temperatures around 14-170C (57-63F) with lows of around 7-100C (45-50F). As this is the official start of the Irish summer there is generally less rain during this month. However Ireland is well known for its unpredictable weather, with clear skies and plenty of sunshine occurring during the same day as cloudy and wet weather, so come prepared!
