Arrival from the airport
If you are planning to take a taxi to the university the journey is typically 15-20 minutes in duration but this will depend if you arrive during typical rush-hour or not. When coming through arrivals you exit the main door and directly on your right is the taxi rank. If you plan to rent a car for the duration of your visit the directions to the DCU are the following:
Follow the M1, direction city centre, and turn right at Whitehall Church into Collins Avenue. DCU is 500 metres on the left hand side. There are also a good selection of buses that service the city centre and also the DCU area. The buses are operated by Dublin bus and include the 16A, 41/41A/41B/41C, 46X, 58X, 746 and the “Airlink” coach service 747.
